We, Molecular Photoscience Laboratory, are
exploring an interdisciplinary science with chemistry and biology based on physics that deals with the interaction between light and matter.
Using advanced quantum beams such as synchrotron radiation (SR), free electron laser (FEL), and ultrashort pulsed laser,
we aim to
  • elucidate mechanisms of functions and biological phenomena of nanomaterials and bio-related molecules at the atomic level,
  • synthesize novel nanomaterials and evaluate their physical properties and functions.
